Salahi’s to Claim "Separation of Powers" in Light of Subpoena

And WHY shouldn’t they?

If the White House can keep their Social Secretary, Desiree Rogers, locked behind closed doors, then why shouldn’t the Virginia couple, Tareq and Michaele Salahi, claim the same privilege? Let’s call it ‘Separation of Powers’ between the House Committee on Homeland Security, who appear to already have their minds made up, and all the “Joe the Plumbers” out there. This is nothing more than a Democratic lynch mob wanting revenge for being embarrassed for the short comings of the Secret Service and the elimination of a staff member being present at the reception line with list in hand.

The Secret Service has ALREADY taken full responsibility for their actions, thus taking the hit for Desiree Rogers, someone hand-picked and very tight with the Obamas. This same committee got all the answers they needed from the head of the Secret Service who had NO good excuse for the breach of security.

Let’s face it folks, VP Joe Biden gleaned from ear-to-ear standing next to the attractive blond and Obama did likewise while greeting her and her husband. If they don’t want to award them with a medal for highlighting the flaws in our White House security, at least invite them to a beer and burger luncheon on the lawn. It would give Obama another opportunity for a photo op which he craves on a daily basis.

There are only a few things in this world that really burn my ass! One is a fire about 3 feet high and the other is Senator Ted Kennedy. Here is a guy that has had years to own up to his actions 40 years ago at Chappaquiddick. That was when Kennedy drove his car off of a small bridge on Chappaquiddick island, into eight feet of water where it landed upside-down. While he managed to free himself from the wreck and swim to safety, his passenger, 28-year-old Mary Jo Kopechne was left in the car to drown. He claims to have dived into the water several times in an attempt to save her.

Unsuccessful, he walked back to a party they had left, passing several homes and stations that may have assisted in her rescue. After telling a couple friends about the accident, the three went back to the scene but were still unable to retrieve Mary Jo from the wreckage. That was when Kennedy dived into the water and swam back to his hotel, putting on dry clothes, and setting up an alibi.

Eventually, it all played out with Kennedy pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and getting slapped on the hand with a simple suspended two-month sentence. Reportedly, he has NEVER returned there to answer further questions about the ongoing investigation.

So, getting back to what burns my ass, here is a known drunk, partying with a few young girls, probably under the influence, goes off a bridge, walks past homes that may have been able to help save Mary Jo if she had an air pocket of air, consults with his other drunken party goers, swims away and establishes an alibi, gets away with involuntary manslaughter, and President Obama awards him the Medal of Freedom award!

When this all happened back in 1969, I vowed to NEVER forget about Mary Jo Kopechne and also vowed to NEVER vote for Ted Kennedy if he ever decided to run for President. Over the years he has enjoyed life, become a fat cat, travelled the world, and lived off the taxpayers. Instead, he should have been behind bars for attempting to cover up a murder!

Shame on you, President Obama for bestowing this award on this drunken murderer!
