Scott Brown

Robert Gibbs is the Laughing Stock of Washington!

Aside from having to sit agonizingly through his White House press conferences while suffering through his speech impediments that consist of “Ahhhh…………Ahhhhhh…….. Ahhhhhh………..Ahhhhh” he was totally foolish in thinking that anyone would believe his comment on the Christmas bomber.  During an interview on FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Robert Gibbs stated that the Christmas day bomber was interviewed for 15 minutes before being read his Miranda Rights and that they got all the available information they thought they would get from him.

Give me a break! Here’s a terrorist that just fried his balls with an underwear fire bomb and was more than likely asking for medical treatment. Gibbs wants you to believe that in fifteen minutes they obtained all that they felt they would get? This is just another example of how the Obama administration has weakened our defense.

We’ve also heard from Senator Chris Dodd. Remember him? He’s the guy who remarked back on Dec 23rd “We Will Always Remember This Day!” after 60 Democrats approved the Senate version of the health care bill? Well, he may be thinking about his chances of winning in his upcoming re-election since he is now telling fellow Democrats to  ”take a breather for awhile”. Isn’t it amazing what can happen when 40 becomes 41, as in Scott Brown’s win in Massachussetts.

So now we move from health care to the economy (apparently surgically-altered Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t get the memo) as the State of the Union address approaches. After one year in office the Obama administration is FINALLY going to focus on job creation. Their stimulus efforts were a failure, to the point that even the reporting had to be altered to fudge the job creation numbers. Obama will be talking about deficit reduction that in his words “didn’t happen overnight”. That’s true, much of it happened over the last year with him at the wheel, bailing out Wall Street, bouying up the auto industry, sending more jobs overseas with his Cap & Trade just to name a few.

It’s a laugh when he talks about getting back to
restoring trust and changing Washington“.

Quarterback Obama Is 0-4

It seems that our quarterback, President Obama, can’t seem to get the ball in the end zone and we should start considering replacing him with a new one. Consider his failures in campaigning for both New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial candidates who both lost to Republicans, his trouncing on getting the Olympics in the U.S. and most recently, his failure to shore up Coakley’s Senate run in Massachusetts.

Yet, in his mind it is still all Bush’s fault. He continues to make remarks indicating that he just doesn’t get it. When he turned his health care reform over to Reid and Pelosi, all he wanted from them was a bill on his desk no later than his State of the Union address. The two of them, at all costs to their fellow Democrat’s re-election bids, strong-armed members to “git ‘er done!”. I’m sure that the two will be greatly rewarded down the road with some high paying ambassadorship for their now failed efforts. Reid’s in big trouble in his home State and should be thinking about buying a used pickup truck to get his belongings back home but Pelosi still seems to be in control of her Democratic San Francisco area voters, however, she may need to tighten up those lines again before another run for her House seat.

How quick the landscape in Washington will change come November as Americans go to the polls and continue to say NO to all the backroom deals and pork that got added to the over 2,000 page health care bill. It will be interesting to see how many copies of the side deals can be shredded before the Republicans get a chance to see the ‘secret’ bill. I’m sure staff will be told to work overtime and additional shredders will be brought in to accomplish the destruction before Scott Brown is sworn in. Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the garbage dumpster to see how many times it gets filled and emptied with bag after bag of shreddings?

Obama, Harry Reid, and Speaker Pelosi believed that voters had given them a license to do whatever they wished. Now, it looks as though Obama and Reid got the message from Massachusetts voters but poor Nancy Pelosi continues to promise health care ‘reform’ no matter what. The difference in her continual denial is that she no longer puts a time line on it nor does she say it will be a ‘one-piece’ bill. It must be extremely hard for her to accept the fact that she will NOW have to reach across the aisle and include the Republicans who her and Reid kept outside of the locked doors. The arrogance that the Democrats have displayed since gaining the 60 Senate seats has come around to bite them in the ass and through the voters of Massachusetts the American public was finally able to send them a wake-up call.

Several, such as New York Democratic Representative Anthony Weiner is advising his colleagues to ‘take a step back’ from health care reform and concentrate on creating jobs. Others, up for election, are saying “Jump ship…………Obama can’t help you!” Even Democratic Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana is now saying things like “There’s’ going to be a tendency on the part of the people (Democrats) to be in denial about all this………if you lose Massachusetts and that’s not a wake-up call, there’s no hope of waking up”.

Voters in Massachusetts have jerked the chain of Washington politicians and reminded them who is in charge as in “We The People

Massachusetts Sends Obama A LOUD and CLEAR Message

A large number of Democrats joined the Independents and Republicans in sending a loud and clear message to Washington that they are tired of the direction the Obama administration is taking the country. The long held Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for almost 47 years is now back in the hands of the PEOPLE. No matter how Obama wants to spin this loss it has become obvious to all that the people in America did not get the HOPE that they voted for but instead got the same old closed door politics. Even the White House spokesman was starting to spin a possible loss earlier in the day, suspecting that the seat would be lost to the Republicans.

Surgically altered Speaker Nancy Pelosi has promised that there will still be a health care bill on the President’s desk by the State of The Union Address. What we will see now is probably going to be some the dirtiest politics we have seen in decades as the Obama Administration and Democrats try to force the unpopular health care plan on the public even though the voters have said ‘enough is enough!”

Come November, there will be a lot of Democrat’s looking for a Scott Brown ‘truck’ to carry their belongings back to their home states. The Massachusetts election will be one that will go down in history as a ‘game-changing’ election. Obama has not lived up to his campaign promises as he tries to, instead, socialize our great country. Now the blame game starts as to whom was to blame for the loss. I say that the buck stops at the President’s desk along with his agenda. We are tired of big government taking over the banks, the auto industry, the health care system, and the environment. Even the way that stimulus jobs are being counted has been altered so that the numbers no longer mean a thing.

CONGRATULATIONS Scott Brown for running a great campaign and sending a message to the White House. Elected Democrats had better listen up and think about whether they want to stay in Washington or whether they will also need a ‘truck’ to get back home after their limo is taken away!

It was interesting watching channels other than FOX and seeing them all squirm as they tried to put any type of positive spin on the results as they were coming in from the polls.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer talked over Brown’s acceptance speech or showed a bunch of charts and MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, who wears Democratic blinders, also ignored the acceptance speech and went on and on about Brown’s credentials. It was great to see the two trying to make a positive spin out of the defeat. And let’s not forget Senator Dodd’s remark back on Dec 23rd when he said ”We Will Always Remember This Day!” after 60 Democrats approved the Senate version of the health care bill. Well, Senator Dodd, the voters of Massachusetts DID NOT forget that day! Nor did they forget the back door deals Harry Reid cut with Ben Nelson and the unions.

Obama In Panic Mode!

With the Senate White House on the verge of losing its 60 vote majority, the Obama administration has gone into a frantic panic mode. The voters in Massachusetts are close to sending the White House a loud and clear message that they have had enough of the status quo by electing Scott Brown.
The ever increasing displeasure over ObamaCare continues to grow and now the Administration is scrambling for ways to salvage it before a win by Scott Brown would disrupt their apple cart. With so much needing tending to in Washington, Obama spent today in Boston and other scheduled stops along the way trying to jack up Martha Coakley’s campaign. Hopefully, it’s a little too late and Obama will be faced with INCLUDING the Republicans in dealing with the rising cost of health care. All the payoff, side-deals will fall by the wayside such as the one with Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson which he has now asked to be removed from the bill. (Wonder if it had anything to do with him being booed out of a pizza parlor the other day) The closed door deals with union officials will be another casualty.
Obama still hasn’t fulfilled his campaign promise that his administration would be transparent and now the voters in Massachusetts will be the very first to let him know that his campaign of HOPE was just a lot of BS. It has been reported that over 50% of the voters in MS are now independents and only 11% Republicans. That, along with dissatisfied Democrats is all it will take to kick Obama in the shins and get him to come off his throne and work with both sides of the aisle.
Even though he spent today in MS, the Democrats seem to have accepted the fact that Coakley can’t win Tuesday and are, once again, behind closed doors planning a strategy that would allow them to ramrod through the unpopular health care bill before Brown would take his Senate seat.
Massachusetts had a killer, Ted Kennedy, as their representative for almost 42 years, much too long for someone who was too drunk to save Mary Jo Kopechne, who drowned in the car he drove into a river.

"Dirty" Harry’s Guidelines For Hiring African Americans

Now that ‘Dirty’ Harry Reid’s opinions of what it takes for an African American to succeed in today’s job market have been revealed, maybe he will be penning a new guideline book if he loses his election bid (a very likely possibility).

Having plenty of background in penning new laws after many years in government service, he shouldn’t have any problem spitting out a new ‘Hiring Guidelines for Employers When Considering the African American Community’ book. His views on Obama’s chances of being ‘hired’ as our President took into consideration that Obama stood a good chance due to the fact that he was ‘light skinned with no Negro dialect’. He may even get Obama to endorse the book since Obama saw Reid’s remarks as ‘praise‘ using ‘inartful language’, whatever that definition is supposed to mean since the word doesn’t exist in Webster’s dictionary.

Why shouldn’t Obama bend over backwards for the man who held the Senate hostage until they gave him the 60 votes he needed to pass the Senate’s version of health care? Obama owes him big time! The problem is, Reid is in deep shit back home with his own constituents for his leadership in the Senate along with his agenda.

In fact, the entire Democratic Party is in trouble in many states and stands a big chance of losing several major strongholds such as Massachusetts. That State has been a Democratic stronghold for almost four decades but Republican Scott Brown has closed the gap on Democratic hopeful Martha Coakley.

The Obama administration took yet another hit when it was reported that his billion dollar stimulus bill had NOT improved any local job improvements. Now they are modifying HOW they will be counting jobs created or ‘saved’ by the stimulus bill with a system that makes it impossible to track those saved or created. They will now be counting any position that stimulus money was used to cover payroll. This would even include pay raises for existing employees and pay for those who never were in jeopardy of losing their jobs. The revised counting system will now just be a matter of counting stimulus ‘funded’ jobs and not ‘saved or created’ jobs. The administration will do anything to warrant running their printing presses overtime, continuing to print money like it’s going out of style. The current 10% unemployment would be closer to 17% if those who have given up looking for jobs were included.

I hope that those who voted for ‘CHANGE’ are getting what they hoped for. The rest of us will exercise our opinions at the voting booths in February and November.
