How did this speech challenged person ever get selected to this position in the first place? One of the most annoying traits in speaking is the use of verbal tics, also known as “filler words”. If he would work on eliminating them maybe his message would get through. In the meantime most listeners are just counting. Here are a few suggestions that he might use to overcome his impediment:

Record yourself and study the playback is your 1st step. Your 2nd step is to allow yourself to pause instead of filling that space with annoying sounds. The 3rd step is to pay more attention to yourself when you are speaking.

I don’t see much future for him once he completes this gig if he doesn’t take an advanced class to improve his speech delivery.

Mark Kirk Lied About His Military Career For Almost 2 Years!

With articles being reported in various newspapers, websites, and blogs that Senate candidate Mark Kirk ’stretched the truth’ by stating on his website that he served ‘in’ Operation Iraqi Freedom rather than ‘during’ we did a little research of our own and found that this LIE went on for almost TWO YEARS!

Back in August 2003, he was only claiming to have served several weeks on active duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom but then in December of 2003 decided to ’stretch the truth’ and say he was ‘in’ the Operation. This went on until August of 2005 when the information was changed and the word ‘in’ was changed to ‘during’. It also included the fact that he served ’stateside’. Below is a short summary of his archived websites and how they changed over time:

Slick Willie: I Never Offered Sestak……..

If the GOP gets their way and there is some type of special investigation into whether former President Bill Clinton floated a job offer to Rep. Joe Sestak how will we be able to believe the guy who, for months, repeatedly said “I DID NOT have sex with that woman!” Here is a guy who stared into every TV camera and repeatedly LIED to the American public. And, why would Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, request a former President to offer any type of job to a candidate or anyone else unless the ‘job’ was of some significance? A simple presidential advisory position would not have required involving former President Clinton’s involvement.

If the conversation was only a few seconds as Sestak is now saying, why didn’t he come out long ago and clear the air? Why did he have to wait until the Obama White House made THEIR statement and then informed both Sestak and Clinton of what was being released? This whole thing stinks to high heaven and we can only hope that the FBI or a special investigator gets involved before records are lost.

And what’s with Hillary Clinton’s hair lately! Did you notice that grease ball, unwashed hair when she was making her speech about the rich not paying enough? I just bought several bottles of shampoo on sale and will gladly send them all to her so she can do something with her greasy hair.

Headed For A 2010 Depression With Revolution (Tea Party)?

The powers that be keep telling us that all is well and that we’re on the road to recovery. The powers that be either don’t know or they are lying. What’s worse than the coming total economic collapse (generally called a depression) is when you add to it a social revolution. We’re already seeing SIGNS of the social unrest seething to the top. Can you say Tea Party?

While the mainline press, which now no longer reports news but sells us the LIBERAL bias of the reporters, hypes the Obama mantra, the nation collapses.

People have had it, people are losing hope and you can read daily headlines that testify to such even though the reporters know not what they’re reporting. The various news outlets continually downplay the importance of the Tea Party and you saw what happened to the “Kennedy Seat”! One day you read about a man flying his plane into an IRS building and burning down his house to the IRS will not be able to recoup anything of value after his suicide.

The next day you read of a man who bulldozes his house rather than giving it back to the bakj in foreclosure.

Is anyone seeing what’s going on here? Can we simply blow off the web bot linguistics that has been predicting a revolution in America this summer ever since 2005? What do you think is going to happen when people find out that their pension funds are broke, when social security has to be cut back and reduced, and when banks no longer give you all of the money that you’ve entrusted them with? Are you under the belief that all of this cannot happen?

Think again!

As of Friday, February 19th, the number of bank failures (and branches) closed/reorganized count up to 4,448 since IndyMac in July 2008. Yes, the banks were reorganized, but how much longer can we play this PONZI scheme? Depending on your inculturated state this is either a replay of the Great Depression’s bank failure phase since clearly there hasn’t been anything near this scale of financial institutions failing in intervening times, or this is ‘just normal’ for a recession. And remember, without the bank bailouts of the ‘too big to fail’ it would already be obvious that we’re replaying the Great Depression.

China is no longer buying our JUNK. In fact China is now selling their T-bonds and bills.

The Fed is now buying its own offerings and thinking there’s no consequences. What’s going on in America today is more than just what the Tea Parties are about. What we’re facing is more than a political discontentment. We’re facing an all out bankruptcy of soul: that’s not good at all!

A Small Business Person’s Perspective of the Tea Party Tax Protests

The Tea Party Tax Protest movement of recent weeks has garnered plenty of media attention.  Some …. like Fox news …. “Get It”.  Others ….. like MSNBC and CNN (Boooo!!) ….. unfortunately do NOT get it.

No matter your opinion, understanding, or level of support for the events and the movement …. no one can deny that a message was sent loud and clear.  By thousands of everyday Americans like you and me (pay attention Congress … that means VOTERS).

Why did thousands of Americans participate in these events (and likely will do so again in the future)?

Because our nation was founded on a set of principles that served us well for over 200 years. These principles made us the most powerful country in the world and most desirable to live in. I am greatly concerned our government is enamored with European principles of greater government power and control. These power hungry politicians are destroying what made us great — our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our freedom.

From my perspective as a small business owner, the tea party message is one I can relate to.

I think the tea party protests are as much or more about oppressive government than just merely taxes. People are getting fed up with the piles of regulations and restrictions …. on top of a tax burden higher than anyone can possibly justify.

Lincoln stated, (I paraphrase) “you cannot tear down the house of one man to build another”. To the contrary …. The Obama Administration and sitting Congress have declared war on many of us … hard working average Americana. Today …. the small business owner is being taxed and regulated to extinction.

Whether it was the family farm in the 1800’s, Henry Ford at the turn of the last century, or Google at the turn of this Century ….. American small business owners have created much of the wealth and the middle class of this country. They have built the “homes” for much of America.

Now, this Government appears to be intent on tearing down their (the small business owner’s) house to build the houses of those who did not have the creativity and the motivation to create their own wealth …… or who have destroyed their and others wealth (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Bear Stearns, AIG, etc.)

Excessive taxation of those who have worked hard and have not failed ….. so Government can provide free handouts to reward their friends and buy votes ….. is NOT the American dream.

I think the message is important, even though it will be muted by a hostile press.

The people who attend these tea parties are simply sick and tired of the looters in our society treating the productive earners as their own personal ATM machines, and we’re not going to take it anymore. We’re not going to let the government borrow money it doesn’t have and create massive debt for our children and grandchildren …. just to fund expansionist government policies intended to grab ever larger segments of the economy from private producers.  Then nationalize them under the yoke of a tyrannical majority which seems to have forgotten the values on which our country was founded.

The current administration is cowardly in that it does not implement policies that saddle the creators of this tax, spend, and borrow driven mess; us (current taxpayers and voters); with the cost of cleaning it up. The current administration seeks to kick the can down the road to our children and grandchildren. People they will not need to count on for votes.

Our parents were the greatest generation. We are clearly the worst.

The US has gone from being a nurturing environment for entrepreneurs and small business owners to a corrupt, centrally planned socialist bureaucracy.

I don’t know who the legislatures are working for, but is isn’t your ‘every day’ working American.

So I strongly believe the Tea Party Tax protest is right on the money …. literally.   Basically …. “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore”.

My opinion of the Tea Party tax protest movement is that it has great potential to draw serious, long-lasting attention to the waste, misrepresentation and theft perpetrated by the Federal Government. I think if enough people continue to participate, it could result in a fundamental restructuring of tax law and how federal spending priorities are adopted.

The likely outcome will be quite different of course …. The pessimist in me sees the movement being co-opted by the Republican party as an organizing tool for their bid to take back Congress in the next election. Once they’ve accomplished this, it will be business as usual, with them blaming the Democrats and Obama for any failure to institute true tax reform and a radical reduction in government’s insatiable lust for money and control of every facet of our lives.

I think the basic concept of the Tea Party’s is sound. I am especially interested in seeing a reduction in onerous, non-representative taxation and bureaucratic government waste. I think large corporate interests, represented by high-priced lobbyists in Washington, have too long controlled where our money is spent. 

It has nothing to do with who is in the White House or what party you support, but everything to do with gov’t taking and wasting our money. Your money.  My money.

Obama’s Hypocrisy On Arizona Immigration Law

What we have all learned in the last two weeks is that the “post racial” President is a race baiter. First he had his stand ins whip up sentiment, and then he weighed in himself while speaking in Ottumwa, Iowa, on Wednesday last.

Listen to El Jefe, speaking in his usual broken cadence…”This law that just passed in Arizona…you can try to make it really tough on people who look like they might be “illegal immigrants…”" the Obamessiah opined. “One of the things that the law says is local officials are allowed to ask somebody that they might have a suspicion might be an illegal immigrant for their papers. But you can imagine, if you are a Hispanic American in Arizona…your great grandparents may have been in Arizona before Arizona was even a state. But now…suddenly…if you don’t have your papers and you took your kid out for ice cream…you’re going to be harassed.”

This is flat out dishonest. Think about this for a minute.

How many times does anyone go anywhere without ID? How many times are you asked to provide identification? On a typical day I go to the bank. I must produce ID, bank card, and so on. I want to use a credit card at a department store. I must present ID along with the credit card. If you want to rent a car, purchase a plane ticket, open a bank account…we have to produce ID all the time. And none of this has anything to do with color, race, or ethnicity.If you want to get in to any federal building, you must produce ID. Maybe we should change that rule, and allow anybody who strolls up to the White House in, no matter what.

Now read this closely: Under Mexican law…illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. (And it’s a Mexican prison…so that’s like ten years anywhere else.) Immigrants who are deported and attempt to reenter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can get 6 years. Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.Mexico can also deport those who are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests, violate Mexican law, are not physically or mentally healthy, or lack the necessary funds for sustenance, for themselves, or their dependents.” But the Mexican President has called the Arizona law racist. He’s just as big a hypocrite as our own Jefe. As I said last week, this is all about votes. You can know this for sure because John McCain has completely reversed his position on illegals. McCain had the same position five years ago as Obama does now. He has switched his position because he knows people in Arizona don’t give a damn about what Obama and the ACLU and La Raza think. They are sick and tired of paying the price for what the feds won’t do, which is secure the border.

They are buying guns and ammunition and anything else they can to protect themselves from what is happening right now. Jefe Obama is going to drag this issue all the way to 2012, where he thinks he can get an edge by having the Hispanic vote. If it gets blood in Arizona, he’ll have only himself to blame for not securing the border. No country can survive the continual onslaught of illegal immigration. Every other country seems to know this, and strictly enforces its laws.

Jefe Obama doesn’t believe in the rule of law.

Which means we ought to ask him to provide his own papers.

Richard Blumenthal = Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire!

Give me a break!

Is there anybody out there that believes this liar, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, when it comes to his excuse for ‘misspeaking’ about his military service. If it was on one occasion we might give his excuse some consideration but he said it so many times he began to paint himself a picture that he had ACTUALLY served in the ‘theater’ in Vietnam. At one point he even went so far as to say “I served during the Vietnam era. I remember the taunts, the insults, sometimes even physical abuse.” Yet during that time history shows that he obtained at least five military deferments (1965 to 1970) and took repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war. He eventually ended up in the Marine Reserve, joining a coveted unit that conducted drills and other exercises while focusing on local projects such as fixing campgrounds and helping out with Toys for Tots.

Even with these recent revelations Attorney General Richard Blumenthal was endorsed to run for the Connecticut Senate seat vacated by Chris Dodd, who is retiring. You remember him don’t you? He’s the guy who remarked back on Dec 23rd “We Will Always Remember This Day!” after 60 Democrats approved the Senate version of the health care bill?

But like we posted several times, we the American voters will remember THAT day when election time rolls around. And Dodd chickened out when it came to running again!

As far as liar, liar, pants on fire Richard Blumenthal, I suggest we spray him with some toxic Spectercide and eliminate yet another Democrat, especially one that lies about his military career. Otherwise we will leave it up to Republican candidate Linda McMahon to do the job of upsetting his applecart. Ted Kennedy’s seat in Massachusetts was thought to be a shoe-in for the Democrats but we all know what happened there!

Thanks for your years of service, Mr. Specter, but you played your State like a fiddle, switching parties as the wind blew. Now it is time to rid Washington of all the other elected officials who failed to listen to their constituents and voted for the Obama Health Care Bill. It’s time to let Washington know that we won’t accept this type of politics any longer. It appears that Obama really DIDN’T get the message when his party lost Massachusetts but it’s possible it’s starting to sink in after Tuesday’s elections.
